1. WHAT IS THE AMERICA WAY CHARITIES?
The American Way Charities is a autonomous IRS approved 501-C-3, non-profit, organization administered by a volunteer-led Board of Directors. The American Way Charities raises money from a variety of sources and allocates funding to support the designated local community.
The American Way Charities has a distinct leadership role in providing leadership, guidance and support to local communities through the United States.

2. WHY SHOULD I DONATE TO AMERICAN WAY CHARITIES?
The American Way Charities provides and/or creates opportunities for all Americans to live a better and more productive life in their community.
The American Way promotes and initiates positive change by identifying inherent causes of social problems in individual communities. When you donate and/or give money to the American Way, you are investing in the future of your community structure. Your investment will ultimately enhance where you reside, work, learn and enjoy life. You and the American Way work in unison with designated social agencies to develop programs to reach the goals of all people living and working in a community. The development of this cohesive social network will ultimately strengthen the total community structure for all concerned citizens.
Your monetary donation assists the American Way to develop agencies and build partnerships that will help to attack complicated social problems in each community. Each and every private monetary donation assists in the betterment of each and every community.

3. HOW MUCH OF MY DONATION IS ATTRIBUTABLE TO ADMINISTRATIVE COSTS TO OPERATE THE AMERICAN WAY CHARITIES?
It is estimated that administrative and fund raising costs may be 15-20% of the total revenue generated from monetary contributions to the American Way. This would allow 80-85% of the fund raised to be reinvested into each community.
The American Way Charities is diligent in ensuring that the monetary funds donated are utilized both efficiently and effectively as possible to preserve assets. In addition, we engage volunteers and community members in an effort to keep the cost to a minimum.

4. HOW ARE THE EXECUTIVE SALARIES FOR THE AMERICAN WAY CHARITIES DETERMINED?
In most cases, the executive salaries at the American Way Charities are determined via a comparison of other charitable organizations in America. Consideration is given to the position held, evaluation of the role and responsibilities and stringent analysis and oversight by the Board of Directors.

5. WHERE DOES MY MONEY GO WHEN I DONATE TO THE AMERICAN WAY CHARITIES?
Each donation to the American Way Charities, is reinvested back into your community structure. The purpose, of course, is to help and assist each community to deal with the most urgent social problems and to provide funding for approved programs and urgent initiatives.

6. WHAT IF I FEEL UNDUE PRESSURE TO DONATE TO THE AMERICAN WAY CHARITIES?
It is not the objective of the American Way Charities to pressure an American citizen to make a monetary donation. Each individual must determine, voluntarily, that they would like to help their individual community and therefore make a monetary donation.

7. DOES THE AMERICAN WAY CHARITIES FUND CHURCHES?
The American Way Charities is organized as a non-religious and non-partisan entity. We are involved in providing funding for local community projects without regard to any church and/or designated religious affiliation. In some instances, we may provide funding for religious oriented programs. All services and programs provided by any agency would be open and accessible to all people in the community without regard to religious affiliation.

8. ARE IN-KIND DONATIONS ACCEPTED BY AMERICAN WAY CHARITIES?
The American Way Charities would accept contributions from any and all community members. Some contributions that are provided are in-kind donations, which may be in the form of office equipment to enhance daily operations.

9. TO WHAT AGENCIES IS FUNDING PROVIDED BY AMERICAN WAY CHARITIES ?
The American Way Charities provides a variety of agencies that deliver social oriented services to your designated community. More specifically, each agency that is in need of funding is assessed and evaluated via the American Way Charity review and evaluative procedure. The entire agency submission would be based on an established criteria and the determined needs of the designated community.

10. HOW DO I SECURE AN OFFICIAL TAX RECEIPT FOR MY DONATION TO THE AMERICAN WAY CHARITIES?
Much depends on how you initiated your contribution, via pension program, payroll deduction,credit card or certified funds. It would be advisable to contact the American Way Charities office to secure your tax receipt.

11. HOW DOES AMERICAN WAY CHARITIES UPDATE CONTACT AND.OR PAYMENT INFORMATION?
